Educational Portals

Even if you already provide online course catalogs and registration systems (If your doesn’t, you may want to see how we can help in Course Marketing and Registration), students and instructors expect much more from their educational institutions. They want a complete solution that allows them to manage and review courses, documents and records, as well as solve routine administrative problems without phone calls.

We provide educational organizations fully-customizable portals that allows them to serve their students, instructors, large customers and regulators - giving them reports, demographic and educational data. Some of the different portals we provide include:

  • Students are automatically given a portal that allows them to manage their registrations and register for new classes, see their training records and certification history, order replacement certification cards, see documents and related information, and answer any questions about their classes - reducing the need for direct assistance.  Our arrangements with training providers mean that we provide these portals at no cost to students.
  • Instructors have a portal that allows them to: see their students; schedule upcoming classes or review their schedule; see the results of held classes; obtain instructor support documents and materials; see their own personal education and certification records, and register for trainer workshops; manage the processing of the certification exams; see the public training records of prospective students; place orders for training materials and certification cards (when applicable); and see databases of legal information (when applicable). We typically provide instructors portals at no cost to them.

Providing portals to others simplifies the business of providing education, and can be a business in-and-of-itself.  While we work with the needs of each type of educational provider in determining how to split revenue and costs, our customers typically provide portals for:

  • Independent Trainers, who have their own training businesses, have a portal that allows them to do everything instructors do, and field requests for training - scheduling classes in response and following up with requests. They can use their portal as a leads management and marketing tool for their own training businesses. Typically the course content provider can charge such individuals:
$1,000 per user for a complete subscription (1 year).

  • Individual Organizations can see the training records of everyone at their own organization, and manage contacts and training records. They can also view registrations for upcoming classes, and register staff for online or classroom classes. When applicable, they also have the same capabilities of the other portals. A typical  educational organization may charge:
$69.99 per user for a trial subscription (4 months)
$99.99 per user for a complete subscription (1 year)

  • Multi-location Organizations have all the capabilities in the other portals, as well as the ability to see training across a range of locations, and schedule and run activity and training summary reports. A typical  educational organization may charge:
$149.99 per user for a trial subscription (4 months)
$249.99 per user for a complete subscription (1 year)

  • Training Providers see all of the student and instructor records for their courses across all customers, and can also: manage classes and scheduling for trainers and students; manage online classes; administer registrations for any type of class; maintain libraries of documents and support materials as well as libraries of links and other resources; administer courses, curriculums and exams/surveys; manage prospects and requests for training; generate summary reports and so forth. A typical  educational organization may charge:
$1,000 per user for a complete subscription (1 year).
  • Educational organizations may want to provide portals to Regulators and Insurers to allow them to see restricted views of educational information, in order for them to assure compliance with jurisdiction or policy training requirements. A typical  educational organization may charge:
$1,000 per user for a complete subscription (1 year).
